Description
This hard wearing, water proof (3000 mm water column**) all-round blanket made of a 1680 denier strong outer material and 500g padding is the ideal winter blanket. The extra deep cut, the long neck cover, no back seam and the taped seams offer the horse excellent protection even during adverse weather conditions. The chest fastenings, crossed surcingles leg straps and generous tail flap will guarantee a perfect fit. The water column is a unit of measurement indicating thickness of technical textiles, for example functional and rainwear. The water column which the material can bear before it lets humidity through, is indicated. Therefore a 1000 mm water column corresponds to 1kg/dm3 of pressure. Material is considered watertight above certain clearly defined values (rainwear 1 300 mm, outer tent layer 1 500 mm and tent floors 2 000 mm according to German norms). !
